Installing this PCI-to-PCMCIA card drives is an ideal method to add a standard 16-bit PCMCIA PC Card slot to the front panel of a desktop computer. The front drive bay mounting design make inserting or removing PCMCIA cards much more convenient.

This PCMCIA CardBus Card Reader supports all Type I, Type II, & Type III 16-bit PC cards (such as ATA flash memory, hard drives, linear flash, SRAM, ethernet network/LAN and modem cards, etc.). PC750 also reads & writes other types of data storage cards such as CompactFlash (CF), MicroDrive, Memory Stick (MS & MS Pro), SD, xD, etc with the proper PCMCIA adapter.

Most of the wireless PC cards (3G cellular PCMCIA CardBus modem cards) are 32-bit PCMCIA CardBus PC cards. [32-bit cards can be distinguished by a gold stripe on the end that is inserted into the PC card slot]

Actiontec PC750 PCI interface dual-slot (type II & III) PC card reader/writer is compatible with any desktop PCs (75MHz or faster systems) with an available PCI slot and can be mounted in a 3.5" drive bay or a 5.25" drive bay with an optional 5.25" mounting kit. The PCI interface card, the cable, and the installation CD are provided in the package.

This internally drive bay mounted PC card reader/writer supports all types (I, II, and III) 16-bit PCMCIA cards such as linear & ATA flash card, SRAM card, hard disk drives card, fax modem card, ethernet/LAN card, etc.. This PCMCIA card reader also supports CompactFlash (CF) card**, SSFDC SmartMedia card**, Microdrive**, Memory Stick**, MultiMediaCard (MMC)**, Secure Digital (SD) card**, etc.. (** need proper PCMCIA adapter). This reader/writer does not support 32-bit CardBus PC Cards.

This PCMCIA card drive works under DOS, Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98/2000/XP, Windows NT. All PCMCIA cards except for SRAM and linear flash cards are supported under Windows NT operating system.

This PC card drive provides two PCMCIA slots (tpe II & III) so you can operate any two PC cards simultaneously. You may use this card drive to transfer digital camera images or palmtop/PDA data to desktop PC. You can surf the internet while transferring digital pictures from a digital camera card or while hooked up to the company network.
